Our Story

Jo Wood, our director and designer, founded Joanne Wood Design Ltd in 2006. With a degree in design from the University of East London, Jo started her career as a product and graphic designer with Alba plc/Harvard International. Over a period of eight years, she created brand identities, brochure designs, and packaging designs for various brands. These include Alba Radio, Breville, Breville Antony Worrall Thompson, Bush Radio, Carl Lewis Fitness, Dirt Devil, Goodmans, Grundig, Hinari Appliances, JCB Power Products, Ministry of Sound Audio, Nicky Clarke Electric, Power Devil, and Roadstar to name a few.

In 2006, Jo decided to branch out and launch her own company, Joanne Wood Design Ltd. With excellent relationships built with her clients, many chose to continue working with her in her new venture, and are still valued clients today. Jo's mission was to create a design agency that, although small in size, would be run to the same professional standards expected from a large design agency, just without the cost and lack of individuality.
