Studio K is a small graphic and exhibition design company based in West Yorkshire, UK. We provide cost-effective design solutions for print and display, specialising in designing exhibition displays for museums and galleries.

At the heart of our company is our lead designer, Imelda Kay, who has over 30 years of experience in designing for museums and galleries across the UK. With a strong background in museum design, Imelda has worked with many local and national museums, including the National Media Museum in Bradford, where she held the role of Head of Design for 10 years before starting her own business in 2001.

Throughout her career, Imelda has built strong relationships with other museum design professionals and has collaborated on large projects with firms such as Redman Design and Mather & Co. Our team is further supported by Imelda's husband and son, who provide administrative and project management expertise, as well as artwork production support.

Our company, Studio K, may be small, but we pride ourselves on being able to offer great value for money, providing creative and effective design solutions for a wide range of budgets. As a small, family-run business, we ensure that our clients deal directly with the lead designer, avoiding any middlemen and enabling us to communicate ideas more effectively.

At Studio K, we specialise in designing graphic displays for museums and galleries, but we also provide printed materials for a variety of businesses, including posters, leaflets, booklets, packaging, and corporate identity. • Coronation Street: The Tour: Designing all the graphics for this visitor attraction celebrating the classic TV soap.
• National Museum of Flight: Providing artwork services to the National Museums Scotland for two large aircraft hangars near Edinburgh.
• Lews Castle Museum, Stornoway: Providing artwork services for the museum designers, Redman Design.
• Cannon Hall: Designing new graphic interpretation panels for this Georgian Museum & Art Gallery near Barnsley.
• York Minster: Developing a graphic design strategy for two new exhibitions in the historic York Minster.
• National Museum of Liverpool: Providing artwork services for the Timeline History gallery in this major new museum.
