We are Graphic Ideas, a multi-disciplinary art and design practice founded by Hazel and Jeremy Brook. Our work encompasses fine art, public art, illustration, and graphic design. Hazel studied at Croydon College of Art and has been creating art for decades. She regularly exhibits her paintings and monotypes in both public and commercial art galleries. We have been commissioned to design site-specific works in vitreous enamel and etched glass. Our first artist's book, To paint a portrait of a bird, was published in 1994. We are currently working on a second book, At the limits of nature, based on twentieth-century poetry.
Our recent exhibitions include the RSA Spring Exhibition at Rye Art Gallery and the Discerning Eye at Mall Galleries, London. We have also participated in numerous group shows across the UK.
