Our Story

Club Type, established in 1985, is a renowned typographic foundry that has been at the forefront of font technology. Our founder, Adrian Williams, started his career in the late 1960s, converting metal designs for filmsetting devices. He later went on to digitise existing 'hot metal' typefaces for various manufacturers, creating custom-made fonts for discerning clients and corporate identity and branding commissions. This led to the production of many original typeface designs sold worldwide.
