Welcome to Smart Page, a graphic design business with a difference. At Smart Page, we specialise in designing magazines and offer a range of magazine graphic design services. We are magazine publishers ourselves, so we know what we're talking about. We also offer a range of support services for magazine publishers including advert design, pre-production & pre-press services as well as digital magazines and content creation.

Our Story

First came the magazines. We published our first magazine, Southwell Life, in 2005. It was an A5 community magazine delivered door to door. From the outset, it was popular and it made money. From the start, the part of being a magazine publisher we struggled with most was design and layout. Without proper software or any training, it was close to impossible. We quickly decided to use the services of a professional graphic designer and then everything became much easier. Then we had a brainstorm. Why not employ a graphic designer and, when they weren't working on our magazines, they could design magazines for other publishers. Smart Page graphic design was born; that was back in 2008. Since then, we've designed anything from a glossy fashion magazine to an online business publication, not to mention lots of A5 community magazines like our own and thousands of adverts. We've also designed brochures, show guides, stationery and much more. We're just as at home with digital design as we are with print.
