Our Story

DBN Web Design was founded by Dennis Bell and Bina Nathwani, two seasoned professionals with extensive experience in both web design and software development. Their combined backgrounds, deeply rooted in the dynamic world of software and telecommunications, provided a solid foundation for launching their own venture. DBN began modestly, with Dennis and Bina working part-time, serving a small clientele and relying heavily on word-of-mouth referrals to fuel growth. Driven by a passion for delivering exceptional service and a dedication to exceeding client expectations, the company organically expanded. This led to the joyous occasion of bringing on Chris Driver, another talented web designer and software developer, to the DBN team.

In 2010, the entire DBN team successfully completed a University Certificate of Professional Development (UCPD) in The Commercial Use Of The Web at the prestigious Axis Centre in Beeston, Nottingham.

This intensive course, awarded by De Montfort University, provided us with in-depth knowledge and practical skills in a wide range of web-related disciplines. These modules included Advanced Web Design using XHTML and CSS, PHP Programming, Javascript programming for the web, Planning and building MySQL databases, Advanced Search Engine Optimisation, and eMarketing & persuasive content development.
